At Found, we believe that every believer is called to flourish in their union with Christ, regardless of their experiences with same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria. We exist to provide a safe, compassionate, and biblically grounded space where individuals can navigate faith, identity, and belonging within the Church and society.
Our Vision
Our vision is see to it that believers who experience a same-sex orientation and/or gender dysphoria flourish in their union with Christ and in the Church and society that they are part of.
Our Mission
Our mission is to Encourage and edify believers who experience a same-sex orientation and/or gender dysphoria, to equip the Church to love LGBT+ people well, and engage the larger society so that they can respond well to everything sexuality and gender especially in regard to the LGBT+ community.
Our Aim – Guiding Hearts, Growing in Christ
At Found, our aim is to walk alongside believers experiencing same-sex orientation and/or gender dysphoria, helping them flourish in their faith, identity, and community. We seek to provide biblical guidance, compassionate support, and a welcoming space where every believer can grow in their relationship with Christ and find belonging in the Church. We do this in the following ways
Encourage and edify
Encourage and edify all Christians who experience a same sex orientation and/or gender dysphoria to flourish in their union with Christ through faithfulness to biblical teaching on Sexuality, identity, holiness and marriage.
Equip
Equip the church to love LGBT+ people well through effective teaching and living out of God’s truth revealed in his WORD especially on sexuality, identity, holiness and Marriage. Our hope is that all of us will be challenged and comforted by it in ways that enables our faith in God to flourish.
Engage
Engage the society so that it can be able to respond well on everything about sexuality and gender especially in regard to the LGBT+ community. This include healthy discussions
on manhood and womanhood, responding to family members, friends and other members who come out as LGBT+, embodiment of values that flourish the family unit, this is both for the married and single.
